Former Red Bull, Mercedes and McLaren team members join Cadillac as it seeks to strengthening its leadership across vehicle development and the broader aerodynamics function.

The new appointments include Craig Skinner, as Chief Development Engineer, Eric Blandin, as Head of Aerodynamics and Tim Lean, as Chief Engineer - Aerodynamics Modelling and Simulation.

Skinner (pictured) joins the team following a 20-year career with Red Bull, where he served as Chief Designer and played a key role in the team's success during its consecutive world championship-winning seasons from 2021 to 2024.

In his new role as Chief Development Engineer, Skinner will provide technical direction across the development process, supporting the connection between car concept, aerodynamics design, analysis and delivery. He will report to Chief Technical Officer, Nick Chester.

Eric Blandin joins the team with over 11 years of experience as Chief Aerodynamicist at Mercedes and Deputy Technical Director at Aston Martin. He will lead the team's aerodynamics group and guide its critical growth and report to Nick Chester.

Tim Lean brings over 10 years of aerodynamic experience from McLaren and six years at Red Bull. He was the principal aerodynamicist at Ferrari for over five years and will lead Aerodynamics Modelling and Simulation, reporting to Blandin.

All three will join the team in the next few months.
